Happy Monday Fellow Book Lovers!
I’m still trying to get back into my blogging flow and figure out which days work best for me with my little ones.
This weekend, I had the pleasure to read quite a few books.
I finished This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp. I finished this within 2 sittings. There were some things I would have changed, but it was overall pretty good.
I also read Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson. I finished it a couple of sittings. It wasn’t a long book, and didn’t really stick with me. I enjoyed myself reading it, but I didn’t find it particularly special.
For years I have been told I need to watch or read The Princess Bride by William Goldman. I have finally started reading it this weekend. I was surprised to find myself enjoying it. I wish I had given this more of a chance sooner.
I am currently listening to The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. This is a reread for me but I am really enjoying it even more.
Lastly, I started reading The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness. His work is so unique. I am only a few chapters in, but am truly enjoying it.
What did you read this weekend? Let me know in the comments. 🙂
